As a result of a last-minute change made to New Hampshire’s state budget in which the Secretary of State would no longer have oversight of a health and workers’ compensation public risk pool, senators are now working to reverse the amendment, according to the Associated Press.
On May 21, the Senate’s Finance Committee voted to allow the state’s insurance department to oversee two public risk pools, HealthTrust and Property-Liability Trust.
