The Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission ended support for the desktop version of its benefits and cost-of-living adjustment calculator in favor of a browser-based system.
As of Thursday, the commission stopped updating the desktop calculator, according to its website. Whereas users of the desktop calculator needed to download annual updates in order to correctly calculate benefits, the new version will update automatically and run entirely on web browsers.
