Supporters Say Bill to Dissolve MSF Will Cut Premium Costs 30% or More

Supporters of a bill to dissolve Montana State Fund predicted Friday that workers’ comp premiums will drop by 30% to 40% if the state transitions to a completely private market, but advocates for small businesses warned lawmakers that their premiums will increase without the state-chartered backstop.
