Extension of Cardiac Benefits for Responders Heads Back to Senate

The Connecticut Senate is preparing to review legislation that would extend workers' compensation   benefits for police and firefighters suffering cardiac emergencies up to 24 hours after training or duty.The General Assembly's Joint Appropriations Committee voted 32-19 this week to approve an amendment to Senate Bill 925.
