The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has adopted permanent rules to update independent medical examination fees and facilitate conversion of medical bills in the workers' compensation system to the 10th edition of the International Classification of Diseases.
The rules changes, which were both required by Minnesota statutes, were exempt from the state's usual rulemaking process, according to the notice, which is on page 328, here.
