Owner of Risi Insurance Services Charged With Fraud

The owner of a southern Georgia brokerage that sold workers' compensation policies was arrested on insurance fraud charges, the Charlton County Herald reported Tuesday.James “Jim” Risi, owner of Risi Insurance Services in Glynn County, was arrested after an investigation by the Georgia Board of Workers’ Compensation Enforcement Division, the Herald reported.According to newspaper, Risi was charged with taking money from customers for insurance policies that were never issued on at least four occasions.
