A food-service employee who claimed she was too injured to work has been ordered to pay back more than $11,000 in disability payments after she was caught working at a nursing home and hotel.
Monica De Lopez, 52, of Federal Way, admitted the fraud and pleaded guilty Thursday in Seattle to third-degree theft, a gross misdemeanor.
