Firefighter Cancer Presumption Bill Might be Scheduled for a House Vote

A bill that creates a cancer presumption for employed and volunteer firefighters might be voted on by the House of Representatives soon so long as lobbyists can gather enough Republican support, according to a report in the Connecticut Daily Mirror.  The bill, House Bill 5871, was introduced by the House of Representatives' Labor and Public Employees Committee in March.
