Court Upholds Dismissal of Bus Driver's Civil Suit Against Employer, Benefits Manager

A Texas appellate court upheld the dismissal of an injured bus driver’s civil claims against her employer and its benefits administrator. Jacqueline M. Mouton worked for the Houston Independent School District as a bus driver. She suffered injuries in January 2018 when a motorist failed to stop at a traffic light and collided with her bus.  Cannon Cochran Management Services Inc. served as the benefits administrator for the School District and paid benefits to Mouton.
