Montana lawmakers are considering a bill that would provide workers' compensation for certain first responders who are diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Under SB 394, introduced Thursday, a first responder “may have a compensable claim” under certain conditions, including that a PTSD diagnosis “must find that the injury or occupational disease arises out of the course and scope of employment of the first responder.”
