Tennessee's new medical fee schedule has been in effect for only six weeks, but it's already having an impact on workers' compensation costs. After the fee schedule took effect Sept. 10, raising reimbursements for doctors and hospitals, the National Council on Compensation Insurance recommended a smaller loss-cost decrease than it originally proposed for the state's voluntary market.
