One Call Care Management will make sweeping changes in how it runs its physical therapy business to settle a lawsuit filed by the nonprofit Independent Physical Therapists of California.
The changes include modifications to One Call’s patient referral and authorization process; increased transparency regarding One Call’s quality scoring of physical therapists; and an enhanced electronic billing and payment system for physical therapists, according to a joint press release from One Call and IPTCA.
