CMS to Use Updated Life Table

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced that it would use an updated life table to calculate life expectancy for workers’ compensation set-asides later this month. CMS said it will begin using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s “Table 1: Life table for the total population: United States, 2020” on Saturday.
