DWC Updates Durable Medical Equipment Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation adjusted the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to third quarter changes to Medicare’s payment system. The division adopted the Medicare “DMEPOS Quarter 3, 2017, DME 17-C-ZIP file” for services provided on or after July 1. The 2017 Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Fee Schedule File and “DME 17-A ZIP file” were not updated for the third quarter and remain in effect, the division said.
