The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation will hear testimony May 15 regarding proposed changes to experience rating rules, medical fees, independent medical exams and dispute resolution.
The division said its proposed changes to Workers' Compensation Rule of Procedure Rule 2-Insurance Premium and Payroll Surcharge would change how an experience rating factor is calculated for self-insured employers by mandating use of the rating factor calculated by the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
