New Fee Schedule Takes Effect Nov. 12

An updated version of the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Medical Fee Schedule that will take effect on Nov. 12 is expected to increase system costs by 1.6% annually, a state official said. The commission posted notice on its website that it has adjusted maximum fees and updated rules to maintain the fee schedule "as an effective cost-containment tool." The commission updates the fee schedule every three years.
