Bureau Lists All WC Legislative Changes This Year

The Tennessee General Assembly this year crafted a number of changes to workers' compensation laws, some of which took effect last month, and some of which take effect in July. The state's Bureau of Workers' Compensation published a summary of the changes this week: Weekly benefit rates adjusted. For injuries between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019, the maximum weekly rate for temporary benefits was raised, to $1,021.90, or 110% of the state's average weekly wage.
