Missing Handrail Allows Premises-Liability Suit to Proceed

An asbestos-abatement technician may proceed with a premises liability suit stemming from a workplace accident, but on a narrower set of facts than the claimant had sought, the Eastern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals ruled. Division 4 of the appellate court upheld one of the findings that led the trial court to grant summary judgment to the defendant, but overturned its decision on a second point of law.
