Greenville-Based Benefit Provider Acquires Local TPA

The Greenville, South Carolina-based benefits provider BSI Companies has acquired the third-party administrator Hewitt Coleman & Associates, whose offices are located about five miles down the road, Upstate Business Journal reported.

The acquisition included Hewitt's workers' compensation, group health, property and casualty, and liability units. 

Neither company would say how much was paid, the Journal reported. 

BSI sells insurance products, risk management services and retirement plans to individuals, public entities, trade associations and businesses.
