Minnesota-based workers' comp carrier SFM is now offering a free program to help injured workers and their families deal with the struggles of everyday life.
The Injured Worker and Family Assistance Program is available to injured employees whose workers’ compensation claims are being handled by SFM.
A group of SFM claims representatives recommended creating the program after seeing injured workers struggle with a variety of personal issues that aren’t addressed by workers’ compensation benefits, the company said.
