New Haven Man Charged With Workers' Compensation Fraud

State workers' compensation fraud investigators have accused a New Haven man of exaggerating his injuries on a workers' compensation claim in order to collect $12,500 in benefits, the state's criminal justice division announced Thursday. Inspectors from the workers' compensation fraud unit of the Office of the Chief State's Attorney arrested Joseph Anthony, 56, of New Haven, on one count of workers' compensation fraud.
