A national clearinghouse that catalogs medical treatment guidelines meeting certain standards for evidence-based medicine has dropped Work Loss Data Institute’s Official Disability Guidelines, which are used by workers’ comp systems in Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Kansas and other states.
The move came after the National Guideline Clearinghouse adopted more stringent standards for including treatment guidelines.
