DWC Updates Rules of Procedure

The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation increased some conversion factors used to calculate reimbursement for medical services as part of an update to its Rules of Procedure. Rules adopted Sept. 28 and promulgated in the Colorado Register on Wednesday set the conversion factor for surgery, radiology, pathology and medicine at $72. Factors for surgery and radiology were $71.17 before the update. The pathology conversion factor was $68.40, while medicine was $68.34.
