After two years of input from stakeholders, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has formally adopted a number of changes to fees for rehabilitation consultants.
Last month, the department added one more tweak, published Monday in the Minnesota State Register.
The rules will now prohibit qualified rehabilitation consultants or rehab vendors from charging more than their regular hourly fee for testimony at hearings or administrative conferences. They can charge the hourly fee for testimony, but no additional fee, said Matt Jobe, general counsel for the department.
