The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission's e-filing system will be shut down for a few days in November and December while files are moved to the new system, the commission said Thursday in a bulletin.
The commission is upgrading to a new claims management system, known as KERMIT, for Key Element Reporting Management & Incident Tracking, which will go live Oct. 28. Users will have to re-register an account to access the KERMIT system, commission officials said.
