The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office announced a woman who operated two temporary staffing agencies was charged with workers’ compensation premium fraud.
A Worcester County grand jury in May indicted Solynna Taing, 56, for allegedly underreporting payroll to reduce her workers’ compensation premiums by more than $49,000.
Taing on Thursday pleaded not guilty to four counts of workers’ compensation fraud and three counts of larceny. She was released on her own recognizance and ordered to return for a pre-trial conference in September.
