Bevins Appoints Real Estate Investor to KEMI Board

Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed Brian T. Evans Jr. as a member of the board of directors of Kentucky Employers Mutual Insurance Authority.
KEMI was created by the state General Assembly and acts as the state’s insurer of last resort. The board includes seven at-large members who are appointed by the governor.
Evans is owner and president of BT Investment Inc. in Lexington, a company that invests in real estate. He also owns BT Web Group, a provider of online marketing services, according to his LinkedIn page.
Evans will serve a term that expires on Dec. 31, 2021.
