Amended Bill Clarifies Prohibition on Apportionment to Genetic Characteristics

Richard Pan amended a bill that would prohibit doctors from using race, gender or national origin in determining the percentage of permanent disability caused by factors outside of work, to remove references to a 2017 appellate court decision allowing apportionment to genetic predisposition.
