OSHA Proposing $110,700 in Penalities for Violations at Home Depot in Chicago

The U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration is proposing $110,700 in penalities against Home Depot USA Inc. after citing it for six serious violations, including two repeat offenses, at one of its stores in Chicago. OSHA said Home Depot failed to train staff to use powered industrial vehicles and failed to maintain the vehicles. "Employees at this Home Depot store used powered industrial vehicles around-the-clock to receive stock and transport goods to customers' vehicles.
