Executive Nominations Committee Gives OK to Evans

The Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission has welcomed Kathleen A. Evans as its newest commissioner, according to a notice on the MWCC website. Evans has yet to be confirmed by the full Senate, but the Legislature’s Executive Nominations Committee has approved the nomination by Gov. Larry Hogan, a legislative staffer said Tuesday. The Executive Nominations Committee sends a report to the Senate, which is expected to vote on Evans’ confirmation Friday.
