California garment manufacturers can now register online with the state labor department.
Manufacturers have been required to register with the state Labor Commissioner's Office, formally known as the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and housed under the Department of Industrial Relations, since 1980. Now, they can do so online, DIR announced this week.
