Ametros: Medicare Regularly Denying Treatment for Workers With Set-Aside

Medicare is systematically denying payment for treatments and prescription drugs when injured workers have not reported proper exhaustion of set-aside funds, according to an Ametros analysis. And while almost a third of all denials were in California, less-populated states including Colorado, Indiana and Maryland also had what Ametros characterized as a substantial number of denied claims.
