The vice president of a Miami trucking company pleaded guilty in case involving the use of contracted workers rather than regular employees to carry out a contract with the U.S. Postal Service.
Alexei Rivero, 46, pleaded guilty last week to a two-count wire fraud indictment, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
Rivero was vice president of Florida Carrier & Brokerage Service Inc., a licensed and bonded freight trucking company in Miami.
