The Governing Committee for the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California will discuss on Wednesday a potential midyear rate filing.
Committee members will also discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and the WCIRB’s response, which has included reaching out to other ratemaking organizations to discuss issues such as the impact of COVID-19 claims on experience rating, the reporting of payroll for employees who are no longer working but continuing to be paid, classification of people working from home and challenges in completing policy audits.
