Gov. Parnell Appoints Nurses' Union Rep. to Workers' Comp Board

Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell on Friday announced that he appointed union representative Stacy Allen to the Workers' Compensation Board, which hears disputed benefit claims.Allen, of Palmer, is the business agent with the Laborers’ Local 341 and previously worked as a staff nurse at Alaska Regional Hospital.
