Workshop to Focus on Violence, Sprains and OSHA Compliance

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a regional workplace safety workshop for workers and their employers on Nov. 9. The event will focus on occupational driving safety programs; workplace violence prevention and personal security; preventing sprains and strains; and safety orientation, inspections, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance. The event is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Education Service Center, Region 2, 209 N. Water St., Corpus Christi. The cost is $50 per person and includes coffee and snacks.
