Maximum Benefits Increasing 2.7% on Jan. 1

Maximum weekly benefits for total disability and permanent partial disability in Arkansas will both increase 2.7% in 2016, tied to an increase in the state's average weekly wage, the Workers' Compensation Commission announced. The commission said maximum benefits for total disability will increase to $646 on Jan. 1 from $629 currently. The minimum total disability rate will remain at $20.
