California workers who suffer injuries in motor vehicle accidents while en route to medical-legal evaluations are not entitled to benefits for such injuries, according to a Workers' Compensation Appeals Board panel decision last month.Last year, however, a WCAB panel concluded that a car accident that happened while a worker was trying to get to his doctor because of pain from his industrial injury, was a compensable consequence of his covered injury. That case was Haitbrink Asphalt Paving v.
