DWC Opens 15-Day Comment Period on Hospital Outpatient and ASC Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation opened a 15-day comment period on proposed revisions to the Hospital Outpatient Departments and Ambulatory Surgical Centers section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule. Changes the DWC is proposing would: Clarify that the intent of Section 9789.32(d) is to direct users to other fee schedules in the OMFS for services that are not payable under the hospital outpatient or ASC schedule.
