It’s not every day that a special-interest group goes to a legislature and asks to be regulated, says Massachusetts state Rep. John Scibak. But that’s what a national trade group for PEOs did.
“They said we would like to be regulated, we think we ought to be licensed. Sometimes you hear from organizations and agencies who want to do the right thing but know there are competitors who don’t. They want to weed out the bad apples,” said Scibak, D-South Hadley.
