Manufacturing Co. Faces $321K in Fines

After failing to correct past violations from a December 2014 investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, an El Paso, Texas-based manufacturing company was cited by the administration again, resulting in nearly $321,000 in proposed penalties.  D&D Manufacturing was cited for 41 violations and penalized $181,800 during the December inspection for not protecting its workers from mechanical presses that would start up unexpectedly.  "Workers were at risk of serious injuries because D&D Manufacturing failed to guard mechanical and hydraulic pres...
