Governor Names Overpeck Administrative Director

California Gov. Jerry Brown appointed Destie Overpeck as administrative director of the Division of Workers' Compensation, a position she has filled on an interim basis for three years. Overpeck took over as acting administrative director in 2012 after Rosa Moran resigned her position as AD and returned to her previous position as a workers' compensation judge in Oakland. Moran, who was confirmed by the state Senate in 2012, was the agency's first nonacting administrative director since 2005.
