Pitt Community College officials expressed concern about Gov. Pat McCrory’s proposed budget at the college’s board of trustees meeting, according to local newspaper the Daily Reflector.PCC President Dennis Massey said he was concerned about the fact that McCrory’s budget would withdraw funding for workers’ compensation for state-funded employees.“The governor’s budget proposal was in some ways kind to us, in other ways not,” Massey told the Daily Reflector.PCC receives funding from Pitt County for workers’ compensation for county-funded positions...
