Fatalities Down nearly 50% through 6 Months

The number of compensable fatalities in the first six months of 2015 is down almost 50% compared to last year, according to data released Wednesday by Oregon's Department of Consumer and Business Services. Eleven workers have died through the first two quarters of the year, compared to 20 during the same period in 2014.
