The Virginia Court of Appeals this week revived a self-employed plumber's claim for benefits for an alleged injury that followed his refusal to cooperate in vocational rehabilitation for the original injury.
Although the court said there was adequate evidence to support a finding that Cris Anderson had been acting unreasonably in trying to find a new line of work, the court said the Workers' Compensation Commission erred in finding Anderson's fall at home to not be compensable.
