Hawaii's Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has formed a working group to look into adopting an electronic filing system for workers' compensation paperwork, the department confirmed this week.
The group has discussed electronic reporting as a likely option, a state official who spoke with group representatives confirmed. Legislation that created the group requires it to submit a report with its recommendations by 2017.
