Rules Committee Schedules Confirmation Hearing for WCAB Appointees

Members of the Senate Rules Committee will decide today whether to recommend confirmation of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board appointees Gov. Jerry Brown announced over the last two months. The Rules Committee is holding a confirmation hearing today for Katherine W. Dodd and Juan Pedro Gaffney. Brown on Aug. 6 appointed Dodd, his deputy legal affairs secretary, to the fill one of two vacancies on the appeals board.
