Specific Chromosome Could Prognosticate Mesothelioma Survival

The expression of a specific chromosome may be a good sign for a patient suffering from mesothelioma, according to a recent study.Researchers analyzed the expression levels of chromosome 10 (PTEN) in a variety of mesothelioma patients, primarily because the chromosome has proven to be related to patients' recovery (or relapse) rates for other types of cancer.
