State Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet has filed a civil suit charging a New Orleans-based janitorial firm of premium fraud, tax evasion and labor-law violations.
Bradstreet filed the complaint in San Diego Superior Court against Tidy Building Services Inc. of New Orleans.
“The failure of Tidy… to provide adequate funds to its janitorial subcontractors has … resulted in widespread workers’ compensation premium fraud by those subcontractors,” the complaint charges.
