Utilization Review Applications Due Oct. 1

The Connecticut Insurance Department is reminding companies that utilization review license applications must be turned in on Oct. 1, regardless of the date of the original license, according to a bulletin posted on the department’s website.  New requirements for the utilization review license include an additional survey item that is part of the application form, along with the company’s certification of compliance and a link to a sample criterion.  “The Insurance Department previously relied on the company's certification of compliance.
